This is simply not true. There are a few peculiar state and municipal
laws around the U.S. which are concerned with DOB, but they are very rare.
What you CANNOT do is use DOB or age as a factor
in determining whether or not you will hire someone.
However, many records (eg: criminal conviction histories, or personal credit histories)
are kept or indexed using DOB.
To locate the proper record, the courts and credit bureaus require that you have the
full date of birth.
